Have you ever watched HDTV on a single chip DLP? That's Field Sequential Color.

No, they  finally started using NTSC.  ;^)


Makes for very interesting rainbow edge effects on moving objects.

Here's an unretouched screen shot of the field sequential set I built from scratch. My design. It runs at 90 RBG sequential color frames per second (30 color images per second) at 640X480. 

My digital camera loses some of the resolution the set produces.
