The entropy coding used in the various codecs would not result in 2x - it would
be more than 1x, though.

The 4:4:4 might be a problem. If I have it right, you'd be dedicating twice as
much space to chroma as you use for luminence, which
might put you over the edge. Not to mention the consumer decoder compatibility
issue.
