So in other words, you change the subject from what the original point was, you 
feign disagreement with the original point, and then use that disagreement as a 
vehicle to launch eloquent into a totally different subject.

Why didn't you instead just say "true, but perhaps ..." and make your point 
about alternatives to in-home servers?
