Hello, Maureen,

Prompted by Tony's message, I have had a look at Aer Lingus.ie and selected
a return flight to Boston finding each page clear and waiting patiently for
me to respond. Although this was only a test I took it right up to flight
confirmation and credit card payment.

As I write this message I have left the payment page open and it has not
timed out yet.

What url are you using for Aer Lingus?
Have you set your pop up blocker on?
If so, what level of security are you using? (I would recommend level 1
which lets in secure sites)
Timing out of the web page is usually a factor of the service provider that
owns the web site. However, it might be that the internet service that you
subscribe to is interfering. Which service do you use? For example, I use
Eircom Broadband.

Note; the web site is still holding the page open for me to confirm the
passenger details. If you could give some more details it might be possible
to find out what is causing this problem for you.

All the best,

Cearbhall

Hi Maureen,
and all,I
think that there is a Vics member on this list who may be able to sort out
that problem for you and others.
He is good and really knows his stuff re technology.
Trust that he is still on this List!
All the best
Tony Sweeney.
