Hi,

This is a long-standing problem with the Tesco/access website.
Recently it has become much worse.
I went to a deal of trouble, about three years ago, to analyze the
problem using a TCP/IP packet logger.
I sent my findings to Tesco and asked that my email be forwarded
to the developers so that the problem could be fixed.
Over a period of about three weeks I exchanged many emails with
non-technical
support staff attempting to convince them there was a problem.
Eventually they said they would have the issue addressed.
The problem never got fixed and the site continued to limp along such
that it only bothered techies like myself.
I can dig out my original report if anyone is interested.
It clearly shows a problem no matter whether you use the humble Lynx
web browser, or Internet Explorer 777 Enterprise PlusPlus DeLuxe Edition.

If many voices complain, there's a chance it'll get fixed.
