its not a problem with your hardware. my friend also has the same problem and
I see on an other list there is the same problem I think it might be a problem
caused by sky. may be someone else has the answer for this problem. good luck

I'm having a problem with the new Skype microphone I bought. Basiclally, the
microphone doesn't seem to be connecting to the computer. My voice can't be
heard on the test call. I've tried changing the settings in Skype itself and on
hte computer. The computer does seem to recognise that the microphone is there.
Is it possible that the actual hole that the mic lead slips into is damaged?
