The *exact* phraseology, quotation signs and > signs and ... excepted,
is: "1 You are not permitted to place an electronic copy of the PAS78

but not onto your network. Interesting though the document may be, the
listserv isn't supposed to permit attachments. that may be one
disadvantage of freelists!

Hi Mark,
I think a lawyer could have great fun with "terms" as absurd as these.
Item 1 indicates that you are not permitted to place a copy
on your personal computer.
But how can you read it without having a copy on your computer and
still be in compliance with the terms?
Perhaps the best thing to do is not to agree to such obnoxious
terms and conditions and continue to lobby the BSI / DRC for
reasonable terms of use.
Accordingly, I have removed all traces of this hazardous waste from
my system.
