Hi Noreen and all,

Thanks for the compliment, my head won't be able to fit through that big door
now *smile*

the ONLY ajustment i made to your phone, was
1. Press the menu button.
2. arrow down to tools and press select.
3. arrow to profiles and press select.
4. select a profile from the list, (normally general) butwill work for any one.
5. select personalise when you are on the profile you want to change.
6. arrow to keypad tones and press select.
7. you have a number of options here, and i selected keypad tones off.
8. press the back key until you come back to the main screen.

keypad tones often clash with talks and cause it to hang.
Note, this is for the 6630 model. these steps may vary slightly depending on
what model of phone you have.

Brian.

Hi Ulla,
Have to agree with everything you say. The difficulty I had with Vodafone
was that the Nokia 6630 which I purchased last September for 300?, has been
back three times with the same fault and finally, they had to replace the
phone about a month ago. However, I requested that they put the latest
version of Talks on the replacement phone but no such luck. at least, from
what you say the 2.01 version of Talks works better on the 6630 phone than
the N 70.
I should add as a warning to others that each time the phone came back from
repair there was a difficulty with Talks. The first time I was getting a
message saying "Licence has expired" and I had to get assistance from Stuart
to sort the problem out. The second time Talks was missing altogether and
the phone had to be returned which took a further three weeks to have
sorted. Anyway, I am glad to say that following a further adjustment by
that clever fellow called Brian Dalton when I met him at the AGM my phone is
now at last very satisfactory!! This is just a warning to others, that if
their phone is in for repair, just to check before you leave the shop that
Talks is working properly as it might save another journey back to the shop.
Kind regards,
Noreen M.
