OK,
I can see your mistake.
In a terminal window cd to yoshimi-1.3.6/src/
Then run ccmake . and press 'c'
this will bring up all the compile options
The only thing you may want to change is the default MIDI. Use the down arrow
to get to it,
press return to edit it
change it to alsa and press return again to fix it.
Press 'c' again followed by 'g'
make should now build everything including lv2
and as root make install should put everything where it needs to go.
I'm at home desperately looking for excuses to avoid the housework so feel free
