Hi,
I'm french so excuse me for my bad english.

I've compiled yoshimi without matters, but when I launch it, in the qjackctl connections, It appears in the audio section and midi section, but not in alsa section.
The problem is that I have nothing to connect in the midi section, all my softwares and instruments are in the alsa section, so I can't use Yoshimi, which seems to be better than Zynaddsubfx.
In the console, I can read this:
" Failed to set audio thread priority attribute: (22) Resource temporarily unavailable
Yoshimi 0.055.2
Client name: yoshimi
Audio: jack -> 'default'
Midi: jack -> 'default'
Oscilsize: 1024
Samplerate: 44100
Buffersize: 1024
Alleged latency: 1024 frames, 23.2 ms
Gross latency: 2048 frames, 46.4 ms
"
How to fix it?

Hi Louis,

Having thought about for a bit ... if you mainly run things with alsa midi,
then I'd recommend you compile yoshimi with alsa midi selected as the default.
When you run ccmake, there's an option "DEFAULT_MIDI", which by default is set
to 'jack'. If you change that to 'alsa', then yoshimi will automatically use
alsa midi (unless you run it with the -j option, for jack midi).

If the problem you're having is solved by this (or by running 'yoshimi -a' as
David suggested), please let me know. That would be an ideal outcome, but it
still leaves me with the weirdness I'm seeing on my system.

cheers, Cal
