I remain hopeful that we will, maybe sometime in the future, be able
to trigger bank and patch changes in Yoshimi from a sequencer.

Alex.

Ummmm. You can already do that with version 0.062.xx
It responds to both bank (controller 32) and patch (program) changes. It's a
bit rough round the edges so far, but it works.

I made a short test file with Rosegarden working with yoshimi 0.062-pre2 where I
had no patches set up at all, but had 3 parts 'enabled'. I then simply bedded
the control changes for each part in the associated Rosegarden track, along
with the normal note information. I had some issues (partly caused by Rosegarden
I think), and although it made all the changes correctly, these weren't
displayed in Yoshimi.

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
