If the computer help is free and not charged for, it is not commercial use. I would imagine such a help facility being set up as a non-profit aka charity.

I think the idea is excellent. Many problems are fairly basic in natureand
can be solved by other users.

I would be quite willing and imo able to work with people especially since
remote access is free via teamviewer, for example.
