Supernova will run from a USB pen drive, if you buy it that way. But the only way to get it to run when you plug it in is by installing 'Dolphin Interceptor' on the host.
Dolphin will sell you insurance for your thumb drive version of Supernova, ker ching!

Hi In deed you can "pay" for a dongle, on top of the high price already charged. Then likely I would lose it, or forget to take it to work, or vice versa, then I'm stuffed again. I'm using a demo of window eyes at the moment, and it is working as well as jfw so far. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Doris and Chris Sent: 09 January 2013 17:26 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Jaws license annoyance, thinking of swapping to window eyes Remember you can always request a hardware dongle from FS also. When I last heard, Window Eyes came with the serial number branded into each individual program disk. WE does phone home when you install it but I haven't heard anyone complaining that they were not able to install their window eyes on the computers they needed it on. I think our friend Steve Nut on here is a window eyes reseller and will be able to shed more light on this. hth Doris At 04:15 PM 1/9/2013 +0000, you wrote:Hi all I won't bore you with my rant about having to keep asking for my dam jaws keys to be re-setby FS, as it's long. What I wanted to know, is how window eyes is activated and or authorised. Is it the same annoying method that FS use, or a sensible mainstream method, i.e. you are provided with a serial number, and can install it on your own pc as many times as you choose. Thanks for any help. I don't think this device has any more than track ability available. Quite a long one at 32 hours and only in 4 parts. This means if I need to go back over ground already read I can only do so by going back to the start of the current track which are around 8 hours long. It would be just great to break these down into smaller tracks but the file format is .aa which I understand is Audible's encrypted system which is not breakable by any software available. If this is correct does anyone know of a solution to my problem, please.
