I'm talking about the sites I visit or want to visit though and boringly I'm aware that images aren't used for navigation on those. For what it's worth. But they do jump around like crazy.

Except where the missing alt text is on images used for major navigation links, in which case, you won't have a clue how to get anywhere on the site.
