Someone should perhaps reach out to Terry Mcreary to let them know that the
troll has been banished: they may have been true to their word and
unsubscribed from/blocked the list immediately after making their initial
post and therefore do not know about this positive turn of events.

This all sounds good to me; no objections here.

If there's any provision for co-ownership, it would be good to have an
official backup -- maybe Ray? -- in case Ben comes down sick, or goes

want to take over supervision long-term, just someone to be "acting
owner" while sorting out a more permanent choice.

There is a clear consensus that Fink should be kicked, so I will
figure out how to do that.

Yes, I think it's time.  If he occasionally made positive
contributions, that might be different -- a shared forum requires some
tolerance for other people's eccentricities :-) -- but I can't
remember any.

My only suggestion is now the ban hammer is available the threat is
perhaps enough? Give warning then when he does it again ban. Feels nicer
that way for admins in some respects.

Alternately moderate him? I'd put my hand up to help with moderation but
I'm a fairly off topic contributor as it is.
