Well-behaved until it meets a significant ignition source, then everything with physical continuity to the ignition point undergoes a deflagration-to-detonation transition.  We had some ideas on how to approach that, but nothing that would meet cost and schedule and nothing we were going to submit an F-15 crew to.

Get the fluid velocity in the injector higher than the detonation-front velocity?
