I wonder if you have any insight as to how went off? I presume the
feed tank went up due to flashback along the lines from the tank to
the engine.
I can't off-hand suggest any ways to prevent this that you didn't
(probably) already try. However, if anyone solved this, perhaps there
is an application for pumping nitroglycerine into a furnace.
