The "sphere" is not a solid shell but a collection of objects orbiting at
the same approximate distance but different inclinations. That is commonly
misunderstood.

I did talk to a person who did, early this century. Casual chat it was.



Maybe his son carries on his missive for awhile.



Both are remembered a lot on YouTube fortunately.
