Depends on which amateurs you're talking about. If memory serves,
Armadillo did some work with a rhenium chamber -- not all amateur groups
are low-budget. Don't immediately recall anybody using titanium, but it
wouldn't surprise me. Scandium, well, maybe not. :-)
you should not inter comments that you have no hands on experience with
yourself
Ben's hands-on experience is... extensive.
