[Ilugc] A good 'C' book?

Years back I bought Kanetkar's 'Let us C++ ' book. When I began reading it
there was a sense of deja vu...... I knew I had read it before!!! The only
other C++ book I had read was Robert Lafore. So I got hold of a copy of
Lafore and did a random check. I was amazed to see entire paragraphs lifted
word for word. After this I lost respect for this guy.
