How about having a conference name without the words "free", "FOSS",
"GNU" ? Enough of (un) conferences are happing in India with word
Free/FOSS . Organizers should try an avoid using these commodity words
So what exactly is the goal of the conference? Just some people
getting together to have fun? (in which case, why bring it up on a
Linux mailing list?) For it to be discussed on this forum, I would
have thought that freedom would have been an integral part of the goal,
so free software is not just a commodity phrase -- it is a foundational
cause of such conferences.
Are we beginning to lose sight of what drives free software?
