It depends on who your audience is.

1. People who are already familiar with FOSS. They
are not particular
about the name, and just come to learn new stuff,
and meet people.

2. People who are new to FOSS (school, college
folks, general public
et. al.). They need to know about FOSS, and also
require branding.
