Black and Red combination will be immediately associated with
something else, especially in Chennai. Otherwise it doesn't closely
relate to the "rising sun" or "the hand" symbol used be the political
parties at first sight.
Btw, left hand is nearer to the heart and it is a custom amongst
African tribes to use left hand shake to denote that the wish comes
from the heart (which is also adopted in the Scout movement). Its we
Indians who associate left hand with something else and consider it yuck.
Niyam, can you come up with an alternate logo with a different color
than red or something replacing the red dot but still keeping your
idea intact ? That would be great :)
