OP post doesn't explicitly say the candidate is going to work on .Net
core or linux dev/prod environment (just said substancial linux
experience, I dont know what it means).In my openion this is very much
irrelevent to ILUGC.

Completely agreed, it is not mentioned. That does not mean it is not
possible. I implore people think of possibilities. These talks will
block people from switching to Linux.

I'm not a .Net dev but I bet anyone to point me any app/website
developed entirely in .Net core and running in linux.

If you ask me to show website using django and running on Linux I
cannot. That does not mean it is not possible.

Why don't you lead by example? Note: I am not a web developer, I am a
kernel developer. I am not interested in web apps at all so please
don't ask me to lead by example.

Dont show me app developed in Mono. See the first reply to this SO
thread to know the difference between .Net Core and Mono. Mono is not
.Net Core and Mono dont share the same license as .Net Core.
