Agreed. But the OP was talking about C# and asp.net alone.
Still people can Mono, .Net core when they want to use .Net with some
limitations. It paves a way for people to migrate from proprietary
software to open source. I think ILUGC is all about encouraging this.

more over OP has asked for .net professionals with 2 years experience, by
that time .net core was not born.,

'C' language existed before gcc and Linux. So will you say 'C' should
not be used, ditch Linux?
It feels like you suggest that people who used proprietary OSes for 30
years should not use Linux because Linux was not there then. Isn't it
completely flawed? I am failing to understand what you are suggesting
here. Would be great if you can provide little more detail so that
people can understand your point well.

AFAIK, this call is a violation to this forum guidelines.
