To the best of my knowledge about Thiagu:  he and others like him would say:
DITCH PROPRIETORY OS and use Linux.  They would strive to provide all
necessary support.

I know about Thiagu. I have interacted with him in person during ILUGC
meet. I second that he is a strong proponent of Linux. But in this
scenario it feels like Thiagu is sticking to erstwhile Microsoft
(before Satya) concept.
