These are 2 different services!
BSNL dataone = the government owned phone company's broadband service
Tata Indicom / VSNL broadband is what used to be called Dishnet till
recently, but VSNL took over Dishnet's DSL and dialup service sometime
last year (the dishnet service quality improved after this I must say)
I have been using tata indicom / dishnet for the last 3 years and its
quite reliable .. except when it goes phut, which happens once in
several weeks and sometimes takes anywhere between one hour to over a
day to fix depending on what got screwed up
