Still i am not clear. I didn't have the option at the
installation time

it is preloaded.
We cannot register at the site as we are not provided with any

The HCL Report sheet with the pc says that " this machine is loaded
with Red
 Hat linux WS3.0"
so, what we have is an authorised software? or a pirated one?
I have been a customer of HCL for over 17 years. They normally do not
do such illegal things. They must be having agreement with Redhat. In
fact till few years they were loading debian in PCs if you do not
order any OS.

Instead of sending mail after mail, please call HCL and get the
position clarified. If the the redhat linux is legal you can get
recovery/full cd set easily from them.
