dont you have to pay for this? And IMO ftp is dangerous, better not
to configure it at all

We have to configure FTP for file transfer between the local server and the
PCs.

The
person who installed the pc is not able to provide the cd. Where
we can get the CDs or DVD nearby in adyar.
ILUGC cd grab page is not working.

if they have RH WS-3, wouldnt it be piracy?
The HCL Report sheet with the pc says that " this machine is loaded with Red 
Hat linux WS3.0"
How they are able to give this?
