All,
I have been interested in this discussion with many people
in the past.
But my basic question remains unanswered.
When you say unix, you say vi but not emacs
So if i want to be efficient in quick work in unix then i rather
put more effort in learning vi rather than emacs
are there any other views on tis ?

hi,
can someone give a nice comprehensive dummy's tutorial in using emacs
at the next month's meet. I have been trying to learn emacs for the
last 12 years, but somehow never managed - anyone?
