Maybe its because vi is present in all Unix based operating systems,
as guaranteed by the POSIX standard.
But yes emacs, does seem to give me that "pinky" problem. First time I used
it, I kept hitting [ESC] to change modes..heh
I am an emacs fan and used to hate pressing the esc key and 'i' key
when forced to use vi.
