I wish you stick to our own way of speaking/writing. In my opinion we
need translation and not transliteration.
not my way. String translation is the computer speaking to a person. For
example the most common string is 'go'. So do we translate that as 'po'
or 'chel' or 'pohngal' 'chellungal'. (hindi 'ja' or 'jahiye')? If your
computer said 'po' to you instead of 'pohngal' would you feel insulted?
