Hey, I hadn't even looked for announcements of new STB's, or noticed their absence. Shows how jaded I've become with this issue.
The real deals I'm wondering about bypassing local broadcasters may come when negotiations for retrans consent dollars stall at the same time affiliate contracts come expire. At that time (does it occur?) we might see networks just deal with cable if they have been off the air locally for awhile.
