[opendtv] Re: CES Buzz Missing on STB

Its not a legacy and common sense, but since you don't mention "it"
 and I have limited bandwidth, I can't at this point understand what you are
alluding to.

Here in San Diego, KNSD (NBC operated but not fully owned) furnishes the 10
p.m. news on KSWB (the Tribune owned station that probably change its name
to KSCW).  KSWB still does their local cut ins on the morning news "zoo"
show that they pick up from their sister station KTLA.

There are advertisers that won't air their commercials on TV stations that
don't have local news.
