Even granting your caveats, which I can certainly agree exist, it's still 
absolutely false that: "while the viewership of the television networks is 
restricted to the US alone."
 
As a matter of fact, *if* their 2B number is only for US viewership of the TV 
shows, *then* their conclusion is even more wrong. (Although 2B daily, just in 
the US, is a hard number for me to comprehend.)
 
I've watched US network shows in any number of countries, Kon, and I'm talking 
about on a steady, scheduled basis. Just as you do here. In spite of 
competition from their own home-grown shows.
