Argh! ._.

Well, I guess I could . . . >_<

So E-mail him the same information as the contact letter? Should I add to the
E-mail that a contact letter will be sent, and that detals were found via his
website? (People who invest money in an online presence are likely to be
impressed that it's working, and maybe more receptive.)

I take it this is via E-mail, then?

I have no idea! In the UK, it's published by Ladybird Books, a subsidiary
imprint of Penguin; but that doesn't help determine just *which* imprint the
US edition appeared in.

www.ladybird.co.uk

I found the following on their website: "Requests to republish any of the
Content and to use quotations or extracts from any book published by us should
be addressed to: ladybird@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or to the Marketing Director or the
Online Manager of Ladybird Books Limited, 80 Strand, London WC2R 0RL."

Are you taking care of contacting CJ, Jon?

Difficult to replace, I would think. Her work appears on pp 4-5 of TMC.

Her work seems to be for Random House (i.e. Hutchinsons, Red Fox, et al). Do
you play on sending a covering note to them?

Want me to contact Paul Bonner as well, while I'm compiling the letter(s)?
I've already adapted the text accordingly.

What I have so far is here www.projectaon.org/~simon/PACL.pdf
(I've deliberately removed my own address because I'm paranoid!)
