Hey Everyone,
That is looking pretty good. My only suggestion is
that we add on one stipulation in case this is not the
person we are looking for. Something to the effect of:
"If you are not the same [name] that worked on this
book, we would still appreciate a reply so that we can
make note of it and refrain from disturbing you again
in the future."
Then if we verify that a certain address corresponds
to someone who just happens to have the same name as
the person we are looking for, we can add that
information to the contact thread so that anyone else
looking into the issue does not stumble into the wrong
individual.
I think we have found the right people but I would
like to add a request for a response even if they are
not the ones we are looking for because that may
increase our chances of confirming or denying the
information we have. Besides, I am sure we don't want
to keep sending letters to the same person if he is
not the guy we are looking for.
Anyway, that is my two cents on the issue but other
than adding a sentence or two to cover that, I think
the letter looks good.
