Appreciating fans? Are they going up in value? ;-) Would "appreciative" be 
better?

Might want to mention that Brian Williams, Gary Chalk and Melvyn Grant have 
already granted us rights to use their work, which shows they aren't going to 
be the first to waive their rights.

Don't like the wording of that last sentince very much. How about:

"We would also be grateful if you could put us in touch with any of the other 
artists involved in illustrating The Magnamund Companion. Thank you in advance."

Apart from those minor niggles, I like it. Here's to hoping!
