I don't know that there is an official way to look at this, but we
could footnote this just to say "It's your choice." That would mean
that we should go back and footnote other books.

The Fireseeds are Special Items which count only as one item no matter how many
of them you possess. However, when you have them be sure to note how many you
have left. Also, for the purposes of determining your maximum number of Special
Items (12), all Fireseeds
count as one item.

It could be inferred, then, that any pick of stacked items at the start of a
book always refers to *one* item regardless of how large the stack is. If
placed, this footnote would need to be added to virtually all previously
published works, I think.
