Would that make is the "KAI MASTER'S CHAMBER" then? I don't see a bed
(unless the table doubles) so maybe that back wall isn't the external wall,
or the cut-away has removed the sleeping area!?

Yeah, I like this idea. (Not that I have any say in the matter anyway.) I'm
still having trouble figuring out where all the Kai sleep, and granted there
are large parts of the monastery not shown, but I always had the impression
that the monastery housed hundreds (or possibly more), not dozens. With
something this big you would need someone to oversee the day to day running
of things. (Presumably the Grand Master is busy with more important matters
than to bother with this himself!)
