I mean Adobie 8 Pro. You are telling me that Abbey Fine Reader is better than 
Adobie 8 Pro! How interesting. Can I send you off list a pdf form to complete. 
This is made with disabled people in mind.

Hi Eleanor.

Well, I think things have moved on quite a bit since version 8 of Adobe came 
out.  Firstly, for image processing of any kind I use Abbyy Fine Reader, 
which in addition to scanning from a hardware device such as a scanner or 
digital camera can also convert and batch convert PDF files retaining both 
layout and text formatting.  For reading and managing PDF's and PDF forms, I 
use the venerable Adobe Reader which will allow you to interact with forms 
providing the publisher of the document has properly incorporated form 
elements in to the PDF file before distribution.  I've had to complete a PDF 
form recently so I know it works well.
