I for one would rather see Sendero put its limited resources in to bug fixing
and feature development than in to some work around that enables people to get
a light crippled version or a short duration freebee. I can hear all the people
complaining about whatever crippled version would come out, that it wasn't a
full experience, so they couldn't make up their minds and thus were
dissatisfied. This is a small company with a limited market and a history of
making its applications better over time. There are things I wish were
different about the app, some of which may never be as I want them to be, like
having the ability for maps on board the device and having transit feeds for a
whole lot more cities than what mapquest offers. That having been said, I still
pref this app to Navigon, except in situations where I don't have a data
connection that is reliable, because it has a less clunky interface and does
some things Navigon will never do.
