[gps-talkusers] Re: cheap trial of Seeing Eye app?

And what about how much we spend on essential programs like JAWS and
Kurzweil and the SMA's. All of the time that Sendero spends on developing
features costs money. Mike has done a great job in bringing in grants etc,
but we need to pay for what we get. That is the American way.

The blind community amazes me! People are willing to spend over $1000 on a
GPS on a note taker but everyone on here is whining and crying over a
measly $70 or $130 subscription. Is everyone really that cheap? Come to
think of it, when I bought Navigon and the Tom Tom, both of which I still
have I had to spend $50 on each and did not get a chance to have a trial
version on that either. This application is built with accessibility in mind
and with this company's reputation and GPS products that we've seen in the
past we know that the application is very well constructed and that's going
to give information that a blind person finds most valuable. Android apps
are not free as well and to reiterate I think it's really interesting that
everyone expects something for free.

Thank you
Have a great day.
