What license is the logo available under for the rest of us? Or are
the conference organizers going to keep the logo closed?

logos here. I like the official use logo license, but it can be
discussed.
The license should, in my opinion, be like this:
0. This logo has been designed by Niyam Bhushan and the copyright for
it has been assigned to FossConf
1. The copyright of this logo belongs to FossConf
2. This logo, or a modification of it may be only used to refer to the
FossConf.
3. If this logo, or a modification of it is used on a web page, a link
to the FossConf website - currently http://
registration.fossconf.in/web/ *must* be added.
4. The use of this logo by any product, organisation or site does not
indicate that the said product, organisation or site is endorsed by
FossConf.
5. Since FossConf is not yet a legal entity, the copyright of the logo
is being held by NRC-FOSS on behalf of FossConf until such time as
FossConf becomes a legal entity.
6. [optional] This logo may be used to sell toothpaste provided the
said toothpaste is free and does not contain any proprietary
ingredients or formulae. However this does not imply that the said
toothpaste is endorsed by FossConf.
