Actually, kenneth, I attacked the substance of your email, not
extraneous elements like your MUA or the type of foot wear you use.
I wasn't attacking you. I *was* attacking the OP who is fond of
telling everyone to 'practice what they preach'. And I was pointing
out that *he* is not practicing what he preaches. And, yes, it is a
personal attack. I don't appreciate being called a hypocrite or
selfish by hypocrites. I don't appreciate people who mindlessly
attack the BSD license, when they themselves daily use BSD software
like apache, perl, php, python, postgres, subversion etc etc etc. Yes
- propagate your views with passion. But refrain from calling people
hypocrites or selfish. For your information even the FSF has
recognised the BSD license as Free Software - not that I give a damn
whether they recognise it, but the OP subscribes to that camp, so
should heed what they say.
Can you get back, old chap, to addressing the contents of the
emails people are sending your way, as opposed to shoring up your
arguments based on the email services the people are using?
yes, I can. But i reserve the right to reply in kind to anyone who
uses words like 'selfish' and 'hypocrite'.
