[Ilugc] how do I receive alerts on my mobile device?

Airtel, Hutch  and many such telcos had a email to sms service 
whereas you send an email to e.g.  <MY_NUMBER>@airtel.co.in  , and I 
would receive it on my cellphone.

These services are no longer available , atleast not that i know of.  
if anyone knows if any telco providing this service, please let me know.

what I meant is: connect a cellphone to your system and send sms's 
through that to your cellphone
dont think thats feasible, the systems /mail servers are in US.
