in version 8, I've never needed to do that brian. could you explain a little
more exactly what the purposes of those checkBoxes are?  different from
utilizing shift+arros to select things? are you talking for discontiguous
selections maybe?
if your using 8, I thought you could Control+Click items manually with the
JawsCursor activated?
have you tried this?
Does the checking of these boxes though, equate to the highlighting of the
items, as read by jaws as selected items? if you turn screen Echo back to
normative SayHighlited, and then makeing a custom highlight for the
particular selection color of a given item etc?
