[opendtv] Re: Analog v Digital TV

This is a possibility.  Early Zenith STBs, for example, are sensitive to
missing PSIP.

However, it is very unlikely that missing or malformed PSIP would cause any
type of an issue during the viewing session of a station.  

PSIP provides EPG data that is useful during the viewing of a particular
station, but mostly it is useful when tuning into a transport stream from
another transport stream.

Giving the brand names of the receivers would help on this point.
