This Eben Moglen sounds like a true anarchist and foe of private ownership of property! Not all that atypical of the academic community. Even with modern technology like spread spectrum there are limits on how many sources can share a band of frequencies. Sounds like his idea is to eliminate mass media. No more slick expensive productions like West Wing, CIS or ER. TV for the masses! How nice it would be to watch TV shows produced by neighborhood teen nurds from their garages instead. Still, he may have a point, what with all those low-budget reality shows hitting the airwaves. By the way, I imagine papers he has published are copyrighted. I wonder if he encourages free and open copying and distribution of his hard work.
