I seems the understanding of the term "broadcasting" is being interpreted by either the broad distribution or the by the ability to receive and use. The analogy of broadcasting seed does not work here because the ground readily accepts the seed, or a broadcast herbicide effects all plants. But in terms of electromagnetic radiations, if the transmission cannot be received and used, is it really a "broadcast"? Kind of like the tree in the forest, huh?
